Prof. Yang Wei, President of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)，met with a delegation from the National Research Foundation(NRF) of Singapore led by its CEO Prof. Low Teck Seng on November 17, 2015.
Prof. Yang Wei signed with Prof. Low Teck Seng, the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Natural Science Foundation of the People’s Republic of China and the National Research Foundation of the Republic of Singapore. The two sides will strengthen substantial cooperation and exchange with in the framework of the MoU to promote the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
During the discussion following the signing of the MoU between Prof. He Minghong, Vice President of NSFC, and Prof. Low Teck Seng, both sides introduced the current situation of the agencies and international cooperation respectively, exchanged views and reached consensuson the implementation of the MoU.
Members of the NRF delegation include Dr. Lim Khiang Wee, Executive Director of Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise(CREATE), and Mr. Ning Wang, Assistant Head of Strategy.
Feng Feng, Zhang Yongtao and Zhao Chuang from the Bureau of International Cooperation also attended the meeting.
