On July 3, 2017, NSFC President Prof. Yang Wei signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Natural Science Foundation of the People’s Republic of China and the Iran National Science Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Iran National Science Foundation(INSF) President Prof. NosratollahZargham in Beijing. Iran is an important country on the Belt and Road, the signing of the MoU will strengthenthe tie between NSFC and INSF so as to promote the science and technology cooperation between the two countries and create benefits to the people.
