Department of Life Sciences

 
 

Main functions:
    To organize and formulate the developing strategy in the field of life sciences; to select priority funding areas and to compile the annual Guide to Programs; to accept and evaluate research proposals and to manage the funded projects of various categories in life sciences; to take charge of the organization and management of international cooperation projects and the organization and constitution of the expert evaluation system, and to provide consultations on important scientific issues.
