Study
on the Magnetic Properties of Advanced Polymers
Since 1987, Prof. Lin Zhanru of Sichuan Normal
University studied the polymer material based
on the ferrocene with unique magnetic properties,
such as less loss, low thermal coefficient, low
density, broader temperature range possessing
magnetic effect (exhibit magnetic properties below
200 C), and high stability. The polymer is suitable
for microwave communication with super-wide frequency
ranged from 150MHz to 17.0 GHz. The material has
been prepared successfully in pilot plant with
batch process and used in the manufacture of samples
of magnetic matrix, microwave antenna and GPS
antenna. Three patents have been issued.
