Vice President Shen Wenqing met with a delegation led by Prof. Frederick Dylla, CEO of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) on 18 June, 2010.

Prof. Shen warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed NSFC’s funding status in physical and mathematical sciences and China’s development in the field. Prof. Dylla expressed AIP’s willingness to further promote the bilateral collaboration with NSFC.

Prof. Meng Qingguo, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Prof. Bai Ge, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of International Cooperation attended the meeting.
