　　为推动和支持我国科学家在自然科学基金的资助下与加拿大科学家在卫生领域的交流与合作，促进中加两国大学、医院、科研院所及其附属机构间的合作，经充分协商，2005年12月20日，国家自然科学基金委员会（NSFC）与加拿大卫生研究院（CIHR）签署了关于开展健康研究合作计划的谅解备忘录。2006年和2007年共资助35个合作研究项目。

　　2008年度中加双方将继续执行健康研究合作计划，拟资助20个项目。项目征集的说明与要求如下：

　　一、 受理申请项目领域

　　1、 Neurosciences：to provide support for basic research in neuroscience, mental health, addiction and the senses；（申请代码：C0902）

　　2、 Diabetes and Obesity：to provide support for research on the measures, causes, prevention, treatment and consequences of diabetes and obesity；（申请代码：C140206）

　　3、 Cardiovascular System：to provide support for basic and translational research on the pathogenesis, treatment and ultimate of cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, stroke, cardiomyopathy and atherosclerosis；（申请代码：C140201）

　　4、 Genetics：to provide support for research on the human and other genomes and on all aspects of genetic, basic biochemistry and cell biology related to health and disease；（申请代码：C0601）

　　5、 Infection and immunity：to provide support for basic research on viral and bacterial diseases and development of vaccines；（申请代码：0801）

　　6、 Child and youth health：to provide support for research on fertility, pregnancy, maternal health, healthy child development and the etiology, prevention, and treatment of diseases in infants, children, and youth；（申请代码：C1705）

　　7、 Aging：Gerontology and Geriatrics: to encourage research on aging processes, on functional limitations in older adults as a consequence of disease, and on determinants of healthy aging within the context of one or more of the following priority areas: healthy and successful aging, biological mechanisms of aging, cognitive impairment in aging, aging and maintenance of functional autonomy, and health services relating to older people；（申请代码：C1612）。

　　加拿大卫生研究院（CIHR）鼓励申请人在上述有关领域的研究中采用基于性别差异分析（SGBA）的研究方法，以提高人们对于两性的社会、文化、生理差异对健康的不同影响的认识。关于SGBA的更多信息，请登录http://www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca/e/32019.html 了解详情。中方申请人如对此方面有兴趣，请选择上述七个领域中相近的一个领域进行申请。

　　二、项目说明

　　1、 项目执行期：2009年1月开始执行，最长3年，申请人在每年年末应提交项目进展报告，项目执行结束应提交结题报告。

　　2、 资助强度：

　　中方最高额度：15万人民币/年，3年共45万人民币；加方最高额度：5万加元/年，3年共15万加元。

　　三、申请要求

　　1、 中方申请人应是在研的国家自然科学基金项目的主要承担人（在读博士及博士后可以参加项目研究，但不得作为项目的负责人），并在该研究项目的依托下进行合作。

　　2、 合作研究应主要围绕特定科学问题；旨在改善人民健康与生活质量；申请人应能够成功实施合作研究；充分发挥合作双方的知识专长；增进跨学科间合作。

　　四、在线受理

　　1、中方申请人须访问NSFC的ISIS业务系统https://isis.nsfc.gov.cn/ ，具体操作请参见国家自然科学基金委员会网站“特别关注”栏目“科学基金国际合作与交流项目实施在线受理的通知”(http://www.nsfc.gov.cn/nsfc/desktop/tztg.aspx@infoid=7748.htm)，填写在线中文申请书的具体内容。

　　2、填写中文申请书预算页时请注意，本项目资助科研费用和合作交流费用，请以附件形式附具体预算情况并在线提交。而后，请将本通知所附《英文申请书》填写完毕后，上传添加至中文申请书的“附件”栏中一同提交。

　　3、除上述提交的电子版外，还需打印一套纸质的中、英文申请书（在中文申请书相应位置上盖单位公章）并附加方申请人签署的合作确认函，邮寄至国家自然科学基金委员会国际合作局美大及东欧处。

　　4、项目在线受理截止日期：2007年3月3日24时
